We have to talk about that scene in "The Batman."
In the first 10 minutes of the three-hour movie, a group of thugs threatens to attack an Asian man getting off a subway. Then Batman intervenes and beats them up.
Why people are talking: Folks are calling out the scene for being triggering, given the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes, NBC News reported. Just two months earlier, Michelle Go died after being pushed in front of a New York subway train.
The movie producers haven't responded to criticism yet. How do you feel about this?
