Shamanism is a Manchu religion. It derives from the Manchu-Tungus word šaman, meaning "one who knows". Our ancestors believed in Shamanic witch doctor and got his protection throughout the ruling of China - Qing dynasty is the only dynasty without a tyrant. All the emperors were diligent and competent.

It was the feudal system that lost to capitalism. The British brought opium, canons and pollution, to our ancient agrarian culture. They colonized HK and semi-colonized Shanghai. Sometimes I wonder, if my people were still ruling the country, of course the human rights would be disastrous. But we’ll never have pollution. I secretly blame people from the UK for overthrowing the Manchu Empire and ruined the ancient agricultural China. A Manchu girl remembers, and will not cease to criticize industrialization and the so called modernization.
