Consort Ling or Ling Fei was one of Emperor Qianlong's favourite Consort who became Emperor Qianlong's third Empress after Empress Xiaoxian and Step Empress and she was mother of Emperor Jiaqing Her surname was Wei. She was smart and gentle. She entered the palace as a palace maid and she had very fast promotions and became Imperial Noble Consort and posthumously she was promoted to Empress after her son became the Emperor Jiaqing. Though she came from not so strong family background, still she managed to become most powerful women in the harem. In this video we will talk about her story.
